My name is Jenna Poranen and I’m responsible for Finanssi’s International and Masters’ Affairs. I want to welcome all of You international students to Oulu and of course to our student association Finanssi.
In Finanssi, we try to make your time in Oulu as enjoyable as possible. Normally, we organize events like seminars and company visits or more casual events like parties and different trips like our legendary trip to Ruka. However, due to Covid we have been forced to improvise a little bit but I still guarantee you, your time here in Oulu and at Finanssi will be memorable for sure.
As an international student, you’re very recommended to join Finanssi! By purchasing our membership you get a lot of different benefits starting from free coffee in the guild room all the way to discounts in ”Violetti vyöhyke” stores and buying overalls. In addition, you will need to be a member to participate to Finanssi’s festivities and you don’t want to miss them! Here you can order Finanssi’s weekly newsletter, from which you’ll get the links to the Facebook-events. The newsletters are in Finnish, but from the Facebook-event you’ll always find information in English.
