Hello! The year has changed, and so has the board! This year’s board has gotten off to a fast start, and it’s time to introduce this year’s members. The introductions will take place in two parts. Today, you’ll get to know the remaining six members.
Jenni
Head of Projects
Happy New Year, dear Finanssi members!
I’m Jenni, a 4th-year student and this year’s project manager. My major is International Business Management, and I have the honor of leading the project committee that will create the most amazing events for you this year, including the Nordic Spirit Forum, Öllövelli, and the 34th Anniversary Party!
The year has already kicked off in full swing, and all three events are well on track. Be sure to follow the Instagram pages of all three events, because big things are coming. In addition to these events, I am also part of the Kaamos team and will be organizing the Raksila Appro with the board next year. So, there are plenty of exciting things ahead!
Come say hi at the events, and if you have any questions, feel free to tug on my vest tassels! Remember to take care of your own well-being and enjoy yourselves! <3
What I am looking forward to this year? Top 3:
- My own events
- A summer road trip with my sister
- Board work!
Aino
Head of NESU-Finanssi
I’m Aino, a 4th-year accounting student, and this year I’m serving as the NESU representative on the board. Organizing sits has been such an enjoyable task that I’m now part of the NESU committee for the third (and final :D) year.
This year is going to be full of exciting events because, in addition to organizing the traditional sits and other happenings, my committee and I will get to host two national NESU events. This means that Oulu will see an extraordinary number of business students from different cities visiting us this year, making the upcoming events a fantastic opportunity to network and make
new friends! So, if there’s ever been a time to stay tuned, it’s now!
I’m always happy to hear new sits theme ideas, and the most feasible ones might even get
implemented…
See you at the sits!
What I am looking forward to this year? Top 3:
- NESU events
- Working with the board and committee

Head of Corporate Relations
Hey! I’m Jami Kinnunen!
2nd year student and entrepreneur.
If I had to describe myself in one word, it would be “energetic.”
If I had to use two words, it would be “serial enthusiast.”
If I had to use three words: “Terrible at Excel.”
What I am looking forward to this year? Top 3:
- Meeting people at events where everyone is enjoying themselves, and where people can really savor those small moments that everyone shares during their studies together!
- I think that pretty much sums it up
- Looking forward to a collaboration agreement with Cheek!
Milla
Head of Academic Affairs
Hi!
I’m Milla, this year’s Head of Academic Affairs for Finanssi, or as we like to call it, “kopo!” I’m a third-year student, and hopefully, I’ll be starting my master’s studies this fall.
I’ve been actively involved in Finanssi since my very first year of studies, so some of you might already recognize me. You’ll most likely find me at events (especially at sits parties) or occasionally at the guild room. I’m a rare sight in lectures, but I try to work on improving my attendance this year!
As “kopo,” my main role involves maintaining communication with the faculty and advocating for students’ rights. I serve as a link between students and the faculty, ensuring that students’ voices are heard in decision making processes.
Soon, we’ll be selecting tutors and kummis together with our Head of International and Masters’ Affairs, Arttu. This spring, my lovely committee and I will begin preparing the OBS survey, and in the fall, we’ll conduct the freshman survey. Throughout the year, we’ll also host various coffee moments in the guild room with Kylli-Tiina.
I’m super excited about this upcoming year on the board and can’t wait to see all the amazing things we’ll accomplish together!
Remember, you can always come talk to me at school or events about anything! <3
What am I looking forward to this year? Top 3:
- Board duties
- Graduating with my bachelor’s degree (wish me luck!)
- Increasing daylight, nature coming back to life + Wappu!
Katri
Head of Graphics
Hello there,
I’m Katri Koli, a 2nd-year student and this year’s head of graphics! Last year, I jumped right into active involvement and worked as NESU-Finanssi’s graphic designer. During that time, I got a good start in creating overall patch designs and using Adobe software. I’m sure I’ll learn a lot more throughout the year and develop my skills not only in graphic design but also in board duties in general. In my free time I enjoy being outdoors, spending time in nature and meeting friends.
I’m responsible for Finanssi’s and its events’ visual designs, video and photography, maintaining the photo gallery, and creating overall patches together with my committee. With the graphic committee we aim to produce high-quality materials for Finanssi and ensure that Finanssi looks great both internally and externally to other partners and stakeholders.
Wishing everyone a lovely spring, and I’ll see you at the events—there’s lots of fun ahead!
What am I looking forward to this year? Top 3:
- More sunshine and light!
- Birthday and WAPPU
- Board duties
Inka
Head of Events
Hello everyone!
This is Inka Hanhela, this year’s Head of Events for Finanssi, or more familiarly, Tapsa. I’m a second-year business student who’s always a bit sleepy in the mornings and consumes a fair amount of energy drinks. Besides being involved in events, during my free time I read books, travel whenever and wherever I can or redo patches on my overalls at home while watching old horror movies or comedy series. 😀
As Tapsa, my role is to organize unforgettable events for our members together with our wonderful event committee, such as the Ruka trip, some kind of May Day event, and the Winter Olympics. Be sure to come say hi at events – I’m happy to chat with everyone! <3
