Studies
All new degree students at the Oulu Business School start with Economics and Business Administration as their major subject in the Bachelor’s Degree program. After that, they apply to one of the major subjects in the Master’s Degree program.
In the Master’s Degree program, there are six major subjects available in the Oulu Business School:
- International Business Management
- Accounting
- Finance
- Marketing
- Economics
- Business Analytics

Students starting directly in the Master’s Degree program
If you have at least a previous Bachelor’s Degree from a University Program or a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from a University of Applied Sciences, you may apply directly to one of the Master’s Degree programs in Oulu Business School. You can find more information about the admission process here. The students who have previously completed their Bachelor’s Degree and apply directly to the Master’s Degree program are commonly called +2 students.
It’s very important for Finanssi that the students in the Master’s Degree program also find our activities useful and interesting. We warmly welcome all +2 students to participate in our events. We also organize events specifically tailored for the students in the Master’s Degree phase. You can find the upcoming events in the event calendar on our front page as well as on Finanssi’s Facebook page!

International Students
Our faculty also welcomes hundreds of international students every year. Some of them come to Oulu for a Master’s Degree, while others come here for one or two terms on an exchange. As our faculty becomes more international, so does Finanssi. The growing international influence is visible in our activities, and we strive to offer our members valuable international experiences here in Oulu, as well. Doing so provides our members with excellent opportunities to gain connections and friendships all over the whole world.
